In my previous ruclips.net/video/DQjDvo1Z20w/видео.html I highlighted two microbrands. During and after making that video, I kept wondering what kind of a watch I would pick if I could only have ONE watch. So, today's video is to scratch that itch. An ideal everyday GADA (or Go Anywhere, Do Anything) watch should have buy-it-for-life durability, while being versatile and understated enough to w...

I keep working towards minimalism and yet I keep spending and buying items. It feels like I’m never going to get there. I watch so many videos on minimalism and finance. I have reached some very big financial milestones which I’m grateful for but I still want to spend way less money and stop accumulating items. ☹️

When my brother and I were growing up our Father set a timer on the table. You had to eat everything on your plate before the timer went off. If not, we would get spanked. It caused us both to have unhealthy relationships with food as adults. I am 42 now and I am actively working on this. People who are raised with healthy food examples are very blessed and healthier.

Your reflections are so.....thoughtful and I enjoy your videos very much. The two of you are so calm in your presentations that to me the message really sinks in. No hype and I like that. Slowing down and appreciating the moment is so important in life and the two of you do a great job of that. I was thinking about that when my family and I were in your beautiful country last year for a long layover and we were taking in the experience of the Jewel at the airport and after that we resolved to come back for a vacation in Singapore to explore more. Maybe we will run into you two at a hawker market. Keep up the good work and we will keep watching. 😊

I went vegan bc of genetics at 50: it was ditch animal products or a regimen of pricey drugs for life. Finding tasty replacements +scratchcooking on a budgetl was a learning process, but it IS doable when taken as a life habit rampup over a few months. Animal fats provoke inflammatory diseases and cancers: the sooner you ditch them (without judging yourself or anyone else) the better you'll feel daily+quality to your years. Btw: A Beyond burger+Miyoko's Cashew Cheese on a toasted Food For Life BrownRice EnglishMuffin is a darn tasty vegan allergen free treat that could cure your cow habit. 😉

Taking a short break to take care of a couple of things outside of RUclips and refill our creative juices. So in the meantime, here’s a super easy 3-minute recipe for jiggly microwaved eggs - seen in our April video “12 Life-Changing Lessons for a Simple and Purposeful Life” - to fill the void. 🥚 Ingredients 2 large eggs 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup water (or use dashi stock for more flavor) 1 tsp chopped green onion 1/2 tsp sesame oil 📒 Directions 1. In a small microwavable bowl, beat eggs. Then add salt, water, and mix well. 2. Top egg mixture with green onion, then microwave on medium-high for about 3 minutes (depending on your microwave). 3. Remove from microwave. Eggs should be jiggly and will continue to firm up slightly. Drizzle sesame oil on top and enjoy!

“Downgrade” your lifestyle, and upgrade your life. Living a humble life doesn’t make you unsuccessful. Chasing a bigger house and fancier car may make some people happy, but that doesn’t mean it’ll make YOU happy. The less time you spend chasing after others’ dreams, the more time you can spend chasing yours. 🙂

All you have to do is look at the more traditional areas of asia, africa, and the middle east. They sit on the floor their whole lives and the elders are even able to get up and down from those positions with ease up until they die in most cases. Seems to be logical that we are supposed to live like this.

In our latest video, HL tried making a couple of simple Korean dishes in the “background”, and some viewers asked for more details about what she was cooking. So here are the recipes of kongnamul-muchim and sigeumchi-namul, adapted from @doobydobap - 🌱KOREAN SOYBEAN SPROUT SIDE DISH (Kongnamul-muchim) Ingredients: 300g soybean sprouts 1 tsp salt Seasoning: 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tsp sesame seeds 📒 Directions 1. Bring water to a boil (enough water to cover bean sprouts) and add 1 tsp of salt. 2. Add beansprouts and cook for about 1 min. Once softened, submerge beansprouts in an ice bath. 3. Gently shake water off the bean sprouts and transfer them into a bowl. 4. Add seasonings and mix well. That’s it! - Similarly, for the Korean Spinach Side Dish (Sigeumchi-namul), just follow the same steps with slightly different seasoning, and squeeze out as much water as you can from the spinach in Step 3! 🥬 KOREAN SPINACH SIDE DISH (Sigeumchi-namul) Ingredients: 200g spinach 1 tsp salt Seasoning: 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tbsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp sesame seeds Enjoy! P.S. make sure to drop by the channel and watch the entire video!
